Pastor Yvonne Thompson, born in Philadelphia, PA has served over 40 years in pastoral ministry, concentrating on the needs of women and families.

 

Her wealth of experience in family counseling and social services has enabled her to convey Biblical practice in a manner highly relevant to the urgent needs of today’s generation.

 

Pastor Yvonne co-pastored Jubilee Christian Church (formerly) New Covenant Christian Church, an inner-city church of over 5,000 members with her husband of 50+ years, Bishop Gideon A. Thompson.  She and Bishop are currently enjoying supporting her son Matthew Thompson as the current senior pastor of jubilee. The couple has 8 children, many of whom serve with them in the ministry and 34 grandchildren.
